In a simpler world Bush would be considered the winner of Florida's 25 electoral votes and, thus, the winner of the election. If only it were so easy. The public is growing weary of the legal machinations. Al Gore obviously wants to try to keep the public with him to the finish line. It will be no easy task. Gov Bush believes, with good cause, that he has crossed the finish line three times already. He is right to continue with the transition process while the Supreme Court justices get their robes ready.
