Tulsa-Based Nordam Hires Asia Pacific Sales Manager, Restructures Two Sales Groups

The Nordam Group hired William "Bill" Rossi to take over its Asia Pacific sales and marketing efforts.

The Tulsa-based aerospace parts manufacturer and distributor also shifted its original equipment manufacturer sales and military sales group management to Tray and Meredith Siegfried.

Brett Benton, Nordam's vice president for the Asia Pacific sector, said Rossi took over the managing director position for a challenging region targeted for growth.

"We are actively working to expand our strong work force at all levels, from bonders and assemblers to engineers and managers," said Benton. He said Nordam intends to make a "significant impact" on the Asian maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) market. "Bill will be an important piece of the puzzle."

Nordam hired Rossi from Honeywell International, Singapore, where the 16-year industry veteran served as director of sales and marketing and as the customer account leader for the Singapore Airlines and Nordam accounts.

Rossi took over from Benton all sales and marketing activities at Nordam's Singapore operation. The Lehigh University and Rensselaer Polytechnic University graduate also will manage market analysis and the international sales team in Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, and India.

Ken Lackey, Nordam's chairman and chief executive, said reorganizing the OEM and military sales groups will streamline sales efforts while expanding the Siegfrieds' sales role.

"By clarifying the sales structure," he said, "we increase the efficiency of our internal communications and operations and more effectively align our organization to meet customer requirements. …
