Thomson's Sheshunoff Announces Public Company Banking Database with Moody's FIS Data

Sheshunoff Information Services has announced plans for the release of Sheshunoff Publicly Traded Banking Companies, a database of every publicly traded U.S. bank, S&L, and holding company that includes financial data and select fixed-income information from Moody's Financial Information Services (FIS).

Sheshunoff Publicly Traded Banking Companies is part of a suite of databases developed by Sheshunoff to address the growing and sophisticated information requirements of banking and investment professionals.

Anticipated for release in early November, Sheshunoff Publicly Traded Banking Companies will provide year-todate financial statements and other relevant information for the last five year-ends and last five individual quarters, as well as quarter-only data and data for the last 12 months. Users will have access to debt ratings, stock information from Muller Data, consensus earnings estimates from First Call, analyst reports from Investext, and insider holdings information from CDA, all Thomson companies.

"The Sheshunoff strategy of delivering superior information resources to customers is further underscored by our relationship with Moody's FIS," said Sheshunoff senior vice president William J. Murray. "We are delighted to be an integral part of this distinctive offering," said Moody's FIS vice president Jerald Moskowitz.
