Micromedia Limited Extends Access to Canadian Databases

Micromedia has announced the introduction of Canadian Business, Trade & Technology Fulltext, a database that provides full-text access to over 130 Canadian industry and professional periodicals and newsletters, incorporating what it claims is Canada's most complete database of recent references to corporate continuous disclosure filings and financial documents. Over 80 of the titles included have never been available electronically in full text before, according to Micromedia. The database also includes selected business broadcast and public affairs programs from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).

Available for Windows, DOS, Macintosh, or UNIX stations, Canadian Business, Trade & Technology Fulltext is accessible on a variety of platforms including stand-alone CD-ROM; Internet from Micromedia's Voyageur ERL server; Internet from the ERL gateway, through the World Wide Web; local ERL server; and local network.

Canadian Business, Trade & Technology Fulltext is the fifth major fulltext product available from Micromedia. Other CD-ROM titles include KIOSK: CBCA, KIOSK: MacLean's, and OSC Bulletin PLUS on CD-ROM.

Canadian Business, Trade & Technology Fulltext is available for a free 30day trial. A complete list of periodical titles covered by this and other Micromedia products is available on request.

TRANSCAT

In a separate announcement, Micromedia Limited and Transport Canada have announced they have extended access to TRANSCAT-the primary Canadian database on all transportationrelated issues.
