My Educational Philosophy in 5 Minutes of Jargon or Less
Dunbar, Folwell, Middle Ground
As a middle grades student might put it, "I am a loser."
I have a huge scarlet "L" watermarked on my resume and another PowerPointed against my forehead. You see, I applied for a number of school positions a couple of years ago and was soundly and brutally rebuffed each and every time. After receiving the umpteenth thin envelope, I actually composed my own sad theme song. It went something like this:
Rejection Jection, what's your defection? Hooking up mirrors and checking your reflection. Rejection Jection, how's that complexion? It could be your smile or maybe your inflexion? There has to be something that's bringing you dejection ... (with apologies to Schoolhouse ā¦
