THIS NOVEMBER, K. Newby Gallery hosts the 15th annual American Women Artists member show. An opening reception, which many artists are expected to attend, is from 1 to 4 p.m. on November 2. The show hangs through November 25 and features paintings, drawings, and sculptures from more than 100 female artists who were juried from 325 entrants. In the following paragraphs we introduce you to 14 of these women.
Kay Northup studied art in college before becoming a flight attendant and raising a family in Jackson, WY. Northup later returned to art, and she now paints oil and pastel landscapes that reflect the beauty she sees around ā¦
