* HIS BROTHER'S KEEPER: Although much of the liberal media and some Republican powers still talk about a Bush-McCain ticket as the salve for Republican Party primary season wounds, it doesn't appear likely to happen. George W. Bush is clearly not interested in sharing a ticket with defeated rival John McCain, and last week, HUMAN EVENTS heard a flat "no" on the proposed team-up from one of the sources closest to the Arizona senator--his younger brother.
