The Nlra at 70: John Truesdale Recognized for Lifetime Achievement

A lifetime achievement award was presented to former National Labor Relations Board Chairman, Member and Executive Secretary John Truesdale by John J. Toner, Executive Secretary of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and former Executive Secretary of the NLRB at the "NLRA at 70: Where It Is and Where It Should Be" conference on May 25, 2005, in New York City. Following are his remarks made at the presentation and John Truesdale's response.
I am glad to see that so many important people in the field of Labor Relations are here for this occasion. Today I have the honor, with Patricia Diaz Dennis and Gene Orza, of presenting John a lifetime achievement award.
