Appendix G: Selected Bibliography

The following list of references contains a few of the most important sources that readers may with to pursue in extending their understanding of the current status of medical education with respect to major issues and specific geographic areas. For the reader's convenience, the references have been classified into two broad groups: first, Issues and Topics, followed by Regions, with appropriate subcategories under each. In most cases, the references cited contain extensive bibliographies which will facilitate the in-depth study of the issue or area.
