justice. It can provide the theory and application of antiracist, antioppression ideology and thus expand the practice of service learning beyond "doing good." Finally, it can help service learning theorists and practitioners critique the emphasis in service learning on democratic participation, examining the issues of rights and responsibilities from an explicitly social reconstructionist multicultural perspective.
