DAVID R. SHULDINER holds dual appointments as Visiting Professor with the School of Family Studies at the University of Connecticut and as Humanities Program Coordinator with the State of Connecticut, Department of Social Services, Elderly Services Division. Trained in anthropology and gerontology, he has conducted research among the aging since 1980 when he began interviewing veterans of the Jewish Labor Movement who were active in the United States in the first half of the 20th century.
