sexual practices are limited by the use of questionnaire data to which nearly 40 percent did not respond, our findings concerning attitudes toward homosexuality fundamentally replicate those from a larger database established in our laboratory five years ago. It is clear that an enormous amount of research has yet to be performed if we hope ever to appreciate fully the cross-cultural influences on the expression of sexuality in the American population.
