APPENDIX A
LIST OF TITLES BY CHRONOLOGY

The following list includes titles from the main list and the supplemental list. The date is the year of founding with two exceptions. A single dagger (†) before a title indicates that the date is the year that the title, which appears in the main list, came under Indian control. Double daggers (††) indicate that the title appears in the supplemental list. The date of founding is an estimate for some periodicals and newspapers on the latter list, and some dates indicate Indian control of the publication.
