It may be suggested that children will not be interested in or affected by the viewing of media violence unless or until aggression becomes a meaningful part of their own existence. In principle then, to remove the audience for media violence, we need to construct an environment where people find it unnecessary to think or act aggressively; in reality, this is clearly a formidable problem.
