The weights and measures for foodstuffs cited from the Fortification texts have been converted to quarts (QA). In the published and unpublished Fortification texts these appear in different forms of measurement; mostly BAR is used for the measure of grain, marriš for the measure of wine and beer. The measure for silver, karša, appearing in the Treasury texts, remains unchanged. The Babylonian dry measure kur and the measure for silver, mina, also have been left unchanged.
| 1 bawiš | = 1/10 of 1 irtiba (= 3 QA) |
| 1 BAR | = 10 QA (dry measure) |
| 1 karša | = 10 shekels |
| 1 kur | = 151.561 |
| 1 kurrima | = 10 QA |
| irmaki | fraction, mostly expressing 1/20 |
| 1 irtiba | = 3 BAR (= 30 QA) |
| 1 išbamiya | = 1 QA |
| 1 marriš | = 10 QA (liquid measure) |
| 1 mina | = 60 shekels |
| 1 QA | = 1 quart (0.971) |
