Techniques for Intensifying the Interpersonal Focus in IPT-G
All of the time-limited psychotherapy models emphasize the importance of therapist activity in promoting a consistent focus on targeted areas. In addition to this general therapeutic principle, a number of specific techniques have been developed for augmenting the focusing task. Some of the more commonly used ones are discussed in this chapter.
