SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY
THE ECONOMIC AND cultural diversity of southern and southwestern Illinois is readily apparent in the range of archival and manuscript resources available at the libraries of Southern Illinois University. Not only the proliferation of academic programs at SIU since the 1960s but also important aspects of the region's history are well documented in collections at Carbondale and Edwardsville.

Duckett, appointed to the staff in 1965, was succeeded as curator of special collections and university archivist by David V. Koch in 1979.
