How Does My Dream Fit with Who I Am?
How Do I Commit to It?
A Dream must first be workable in order to be effective, thus "making a workable choice" is the first step in developing a chosen Dream. However, a Dream must also fit who you are and what you want for yourself in the larger context of your life. It must be a Dream you can and do act upon. This is what distinguishes compelling Dreams from those that stay in the land of "Ho-hum, wouldn't it be nice," never to be realized. Steps 2, 3, and 4 in developing a chosen Dream are:
Make a wise choice
Make an empowered choice
Make a committed choice.

MAKE A WISE CHOICE

Determine whether or not your choice is a wise one, meaning a choice that works for who you are in the larger context of the life you wish to lead. A wise choice is one that is not only workable for you, as described in Chapter 4, but also one that takes into account what this choice will ask of you, what you expect of it, and whether or not this choice fits
