The implementation of databases has been popular in all levels of our life. For example, the deposit system used in banks, the query system of books in library, the medical network system, etc. Form the business point of view, how to effectively deal with huge data and information within limited resources could be the key to succeed. Therefore, it is necessary to build up an engineering data management system to solve all possible problems about data application and management. Such a system should include network technology, database management technology, data transfer of application software system and user interface development to provide a complete management system. However, a well designed software will become useless without a good user interface. To set up a user-oriented interface is a very important issue in a database ( Stonebraker, 1993; Haber, 1994). This research is to develop an interface of an engineering data
