Fig.4 Results (Calls from Customers)
In this paper, we introduced practical usability evaluation methods which were conceived for the purpose of applying to the product development stage, and the results obtained by using those methods jointly with other various methods that involves customer's viewpoint.
In the past, quality assurance activities in the development and production stages contributed a great deal to the growth of Japan's manufacturing industry. We believe the same sort of approach, too, would be effective in attaining "products that satisfy the customer and are easy to use". From the aspect of quality assurance, we intend to review all the processes of development from the customer's viewpoint.
