Bibliography

The first part of the bibliography lists major papers mentioned in the text of the chapters. Many early references and those dealing with non-sun/climate topics are considered to be minor and are not included in the bibliography. A few background references not explicitly mentioned in the text are also included in the chapter bibliography. The second part provides a fairly complete chronological listing of sun/climate-related papers and books to 1900. After 1900, we list papers that, in our judgment, appear better than average or important. The final section lists books primarily devoted to sun/weather/ climate relationships.
