Transcripts of the 1992 Presidential
Debates: Bush, Clinton, and Perot
We began our analysis with texts of the 1992. presidential debates
from the New York Times ( "Transcript of First," 1992; "Transcript
of Second," 1992; "Transcript of Third," 1992): we photocopied the
transcripts of the debates in this newspaper and we downloaded computer text files of them via Lexis/Nexis. We then viewed videotapes
of the debates and corrected the transcripts of the three 1992 presidential debates between Bush, Clinton, and Perot.
