Section 2 consists of two chapters that specifically address the concept and practice of capacity enhancement with the correctionally supervised. Chapter 5, “Capacity Enhancement Practice: Key Values, Principles, and Goals,” provides a conceptual foundation for this paradigm. Chapter 6, “A Framework for Capacity Enhancement Practice with the Correctionally Supervised,” provides the reader with a tool, or framework, to apply to social work practice with the correctionally supervised.
