BRENDA LIGHT BREDEMEIER

Dr. Bredemeier is an associate professor at
the University of California, Berkeley, whose
research and publication have defined cur-
rent work in moral behavior and sport.
Deeply involved with her church, commu-
nity, and family, Dr. Bredemeier has served
in leadership capacities in the Association for
Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology
and in the administration of the Arts and
Science College at Berkeley.


LINDA BUNKER

Formerly the associate dean for academic and
student affairs at the University of Virginia,
Dr. Bunker is internationally renowned for
her work in sport psychology with profes-
sional golfers and tennis players. Noted for
her dedication to girls and women in sport,
she is on the advisory boards of the Women's
Sports Foundation, Melpomene Institute,
and Shape Magazine.


CARRIE BURROUS

Carrie Burrous, M.A., has been an
ultrarunner since 1992. In 1995, she ran her
first 100-mile ultra marathon and was the
only woman under 30 years old to finish. She
is a registered psychotherapist intern plan-
ning to work with female athletes and body
image issues.


HOLLY CADWALLADER

Holly Cadwallader earned a master's degree
in psychology of human movement at
Temple University and is a doctoral candi-
date at this time. She is applying her
expertise in exercise psychology, nutrition,
and meditation in the area of holistic health.


ELLEN CARLTON (EC1)

Dr. Ellen Carlton is an associate professor in
the Department of Kinesiology at Sonoma
State University. Her current research is the
"Strength of Character" project, a collabora-
tive investigation of identity and moral
development in lesbian sportswomen.


LINDA JEAN CARPENTER

Linda Jean Carpenter is a professor in the
Department of Physical Education and Exer-
cise Science at Brooklyn College of the City
University of New York. She received her
B.S. and M.S. from Brigham Young Univer-
sity, her Ph.D. from the University of
Southern California, and her J.D. from
Fordham Law School. Her area of research is
women in sport, and she frequently writes in
the area of sport law. She has been named a
Tow Professor at Brooklyn College.


NICHOLE S. CHO

Nichole S. Cho is a program specialist in the
Health and Sports Advocacy Department at
the Young Women's Christian Association
(YWCA) of the USA. Previously, Cho was an
intern at the Women's Sports Foundation in
the Grants and Awards Department. At
Wesleyan University, she was captain of the
varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams.


REBECCA A. CLARK

Dr. Rebecca Clark is a three-time participant
with the USA Deaf Olympic Women's Vol-
leyball Team, earning one gold and two silver
medals. She presently works as a freelance
writer and sport psychology consultant and
maintains a private clinical social work prac-
tice.


EMILY CLASPELL (EC2)

Dr. Emily Claspell is a licensed psychologist.
She is certified through the Association for
Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology
and is on the registry of the U.S. Olympic
Committee. Dr. Claspell is a Korean-Ameri-
can living in Hawaii.


ROBERT (BOB) CLOTWORTHY

Olympic diver Bob Clotworthy was a na-
tional champion diver at Ohio State
University in the early 1950s. At the 1952
Olympic Games in Helsinki, he won a
bronze medal in springboard diving. He
capped his career by winning the gold at the
1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne. Re-
cently retired after 40 years of coaching/
teaching, he is writing a book about the his-
tory of diving.
