Louis Ginzberg

Louis Ginzberg, one of the foremost Talmudic scholars
of this generation, was until his death in 1953 Professor
of Talmud at The Jewish Theological Seminary of
America. His numerous works include The Legends of
the Jews, recently abridged and republished as The
Legends of the Bible.
