impertinence, and in only one particular was the
editors' disagreement so violent as to compel them to
do so. They can only hope that the strength of their
feelings on this particular point is expressed with a
sufficiently Aldisian warmth to engage the sympathy,
if not the respect, of the author.

Six new illustrations have been inserted and three
omitted from those appearing in the earlier edition.
