HADDAM HOUSE is an editorial venture in the area of
religious literature, which has grown out of the com-
mon concerns of The Edward W. Hazen Foundation, the
Young Men's Christian Association, and the Young
Women's Christian Association. It is interested primarily
in the moral and religious questions of students and
other young people, although many of its books appeal
to a wider audience, including the leaders and teachers
of youth.

Through an Editorial Advisory Committee HADDAM
HOUSE studies the changing needs for religious literature,
plans books, and seeks as authors not only experienced
writers but also new voices qualified to give fresh guid-
ance to young men and women in these days. The present
membership of the Editorial Advisory Committee in-
cludes: Richard T. Baker, Chairman, Richard C. Gil-
man, Secretary, Graham Baldwin, William G. Cole, Vir-
ginia Corwin, John D. Maguire, John O. Nelson, Pren-
tiss L. Pemberton, James Rietmulder, Roger L. Shinn,
Jean M. Whittet, Winnifred Wygal.

See pages 187 and 188 for complete list of HADDAM
HOUSE books published to date.
