Details, details. I can't keep on talking like this, hung up on the
details of my experiences, although I'm sure every little bit of informa-
tion is important. Let's say, while my tale slowly unfolds, with Mori and
me burning the candle at both ends in our switched-over lives, if we
suddenly fall silent, clam up, so to speak, you wouldn't feel too comfort-
able about that, now would you?

Well, I didn't think you would put down everything I said, word for
word. Listen, you could thin out as you see fit this jungle of words
running riot, and after a good airing, transform it into a forest with
shape and style. I always assumed that was your job, and that was also
how my words and your account of them were related. When you first
started putting things down in writing, I was afraid you might delete
significant details--so I let it all hang out. But I find that you weren't
judicious at all in choosing what to take down; instead, you transcribed
everything I had to say.

The way things are going, we'll need an additional 100,000 words or
so before we arrive at a telling description of the future action high-
lighting the cosmic purpose of Mori's and my switchover. If our com-
munication process bogs down, the future action itself would end up
