About the Authors

RUTH F. CANTOR does volunteer work and is an advocate for inclusion
of children with special needs into the regular classroom and communi-
nity setting.

JEFFREY A. CANTOR is Asssociate Professr, adult Education and Cor-
porate Training at the City Unity of New York, Lehman College.
He is the author of several books including Delivering Instruction to Adult
Learners
and Cooperative Education and Experiential Learning.

Jeffrey and Ruth Cantor are parents of an 11-year-old son, Adam, who
has been receiving appropriate special needs services and programs since
birth. Both parents are actively involved in parent-teacher and parent-
support organizations for special needs children.
