SIMIANNA looks to be coming nicely back to form and is the one to beat in the Tote Trifecta Sprint Fillies' Stakes at Ripon today.

Alan Berry's four-year-old has dropped in the weights recently and showed the benefit with a six-length third to Resplendent Cee in a conditions event at Haydock.

She was never going when beaten at Beverley prior to that but ran really well to be fourth in a valuable contest at Lingfield on the Polytrack the time before.

A reproduction of her efforts in good company last year - she was fourth in the Shergar Cup Sprint and not beaten far in Listed company at Chester and Ascot - would be more than good enough to take this pounds 18,000 affair and the signs are that that is on the cards.
