MOORS monster Ian Brady has made an amazing plea to be executed - with his victims' families watching.

He said he wanted relatives of the children he murdered to see him being given a lethal injection as happens in America.

In astonishing letters from behind bars, frail Brady, 67, said he backs capital punishment - and also called for lifers to be allowed to kill themselves with poison rather than "rotting" in jail.

The warped killer wrote: "I've always favoured voluntary euthanasia, especially for prisoners.

"All life-sentence prisoners should be offered the choice of taking potassium cyanide."

The mother of one of his five young victims told The People: "If I was given the chance to watch him die and suffer then of course I would take it with both hands."

But Winnie Johnson, whose son Keith Bennett has never been found, said Brady must first reveal where he buried the 12-year-old lad on Saddleworth Moor.

Mrs Johnson, 71, said at her Manchester home: "I would love to see Brady suffer. Some people might think that is inhumane but to me he is not human, he is a monster. I have been to hell and back because of him. To see him die would be fantastic - if only he would tell me what he did with my son."

Brady, who went on his killing spree with lover Myra Hindley in the 1960s, revealed his incredible views in four hand-written letters to a woman doing research for a book on euthanasia and capital punishment. …
