Article excerpt

RRS Discovery, in Dundee, is one of Scotland's favourite visitor attractions, and just one of the many to have benefited from Lottery funding through the Heritage Lottery Fund.

To celebrate the pounds 20billion raised for Good Causes by National Lottery players, we're offering a "money-can't-buy" VIP trip on board this stunning ship.

RRS Discovery - Captain Scott's famous polar exploration ship - was launched in 1901 and is one of the last wooden three-masted ships built in Britain.

She returned to Dundee in 1986 as part of the Dundee Heritage Trust, which has benefited from pounds 1.8million of Lottery funding.

Our fantastic prize is a wine-tasting evening and dry dock tour for a group of 12 people, and includes overnight accommodation and travel.

On board, you'll be able to soak up the atmosphere of this magnificent vessel and marvel at the heroics of her crew.
