CHART-TOPPING Swedish singer Robyn has refused to pen a comeback song for troubled Britney Spears.

Britney found fame with hits Baby One More Time and Oops!

I Did It Again, both written by Swedish producer Max Martin.

Now she has turned to Robyn - who currently has a UK No1 single with the song With Every Heartbeat featuring Kleenup - to get her back into the charts.

She admitted Britney, 25, has already recorded several of her songs but they won't be released.

Robyn, 28, said: "I have written a lot of songs that other people have recorded but I only write for myself.

"I wrote one called Keep The Fires Burning that Beverley Knight recorded a few years ago.

"But it is not true that I will be writing for Britney. She has recorded some of my songs but they won't be released.

"It was claimed Britney and I would be working together but that is totally wrong."
