LEGAL FINANCE: Harvey Ingram Staff Give Pegasus Students Flying Start with Makeover

Members of regional law firm Harvey Ingram were recently given top marks in creativity, when they impressed a local headmaster with their painting, gardening and DIY skills, giving his school a Changing Rooms style makeover.

Pegasus Primary School in Castle Vale, Birmingham, catering for children with special educational needs, had its music room and garden area transformed in one day by two groups of legal professionals from Harvey Ingram's uninsured loss recovery office at St Paul's Square.

The 30 aspiring interior designers, who redecorated both inside and outdoor areas at the school, were able to carry out the work after organising a variety of fundraising events over a six-month period, which raised enough cash to buy all the decorating materials needed for the projects at the school.

Bob Lee, who has been headmaster at Pegasus Primary for the past five years, said: "What the Harvey Ingram team have done is absolutely fantastic and I am so grateful for them getting involved.

"They have brought fresh life and colour to areas of the school which were otherwise drab and boring.

"Since taking over the role of headmaster, I have put a strong emphasis on raising pupils' self-confidence and self esteem through methods other than academic achievement, and music, arts and sports activity have been key to this aim. …
