Nicholas Wants Lift-Off for Reds' Big Title Bid

Llanelli look to put their Welsh Premier title challenge back on track at struggling Airbus UK today.

Last week's 2-1 home defeat to bottom club Porthmadog was a severe blow to the Reds, who find themselves tailing champions the New Saints for the first time this season.

"We gave away two bad goals and the defeat was extremely disappointing," said Llanelli boss Peter Nicholas.

"We now have to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and get back to winning ways."

Nicholas is boosted by the return of goalkeeper Ryan Harrison (suspension) and Stuart Jones (injury), but Craig Williams remains sidelined.

The Wingmakers won for the first time in eight matches last week, collecting a much-needed 3-1 win over Haverfordwest, but they will be without suspended front-runner James McIntosh.

TNS have recovered from defeats in their opening two matches to reel off a magnificent sequence of 11 successive wins, and they pursue the dream of a fourth successive title at out-of-sorts Haverfordwest. …
