Football: Brown and Rea on Familiar Territory

Former Nuneaton Borough defenders Derek Brown and Simon Rea are both looking to play their part in reviving the new-look club's fortunes.

Brown, who had spells at Corby Town and Barton Rovers last season, and Rea, who was with Redditch United, have both been training with the Liberty Way squad as manager Kevin Wilkin rebuilds the team following their twoleague demotion to the British Gas Business Midlands. Both could be involved today Saturday when Town head to Worcester City for a friendly.

Wilkin has already added hve new faces to join the six players to remain from last season, while he admits his immediate priority in the transfer market is to hnd two strikers and another defender.

Shaun Goodall, an 18-year-old striker, has joined after being released by Northampton Town and made an eye-catching start in last week's opening friendly defeat to Histon.
