As many of you know, Patrick Cuviello is having some health concerns and so I am filling in briefly for him with this report. In fact, even as I write this message, Pat is in the hospital. I know you all join me in wishing him a speedy recovery.

There are a couple of items of interest you should be aware of. First, at their most recent meeting, the AMTIE Board of Trustees in Providence voted to change the way AMTIE identifies and lists continuing education offerings. The AMTIE "Report Card" will use the term "clock hours" instead of CECs or CEUs. The users of the Report Card can convert the clock hours to any equivalency they may wish (see the chart below for conversions).

The Board of Trustees also reviewed several examples of potential new AMTIE logos. We will continue to deliberate until one is decided upon. It is important that our logo be a current representation of our mission and our philosophy.

In an attempt to simplify the identification and recording of CE sessions attended, the AMTIE Board has approved the design and utilization of a new reporting form. …
