NOBLES Construction has won two new contracts worth a total of pounds 920,000, taking the value of new business won in recent months to almost pounds 4m.

Nobles has been selected to build new facilities for Somerville Medical Centre, Wallasey, and to refurbish an existing ward to form a Primary Care Assessment Unit at Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral.

At Somerville Medical Centre in Wallasey, Prime has appointed Nobles to create a new 1,000 sq ft two-storey extension to the existing medical centre.

The pounds 715,000 project will provide seven additional consulting rooms, new staff and administration rooms and a large patient waiting area.

Work will also include external structuring to increase secure car park capacity and enhance accessibility.

The investment will enable the centre to care for more patients and provide a wider range of NHS services. In a separate contract, NHS Wirral has also funded a pounds 205,000 contract to create a primary care assessment unit at Arrowe Park Hospital.

The new facility provides improved facilities for patients and staff at the unit, and will help drive down patient waiting times and provide faster access to full assessment and the appropriate treatments. …
