Accountants Nicklin Join Advice Network; NETWORK: N Practice Is First in West Midlands to Link Up with Group

A Halesowen accountancy firm has become the first practice in the region to join a new network of business advice firms.

Nicklin, which has its headquarters on Stourbridge Road, was chosen to join the Corporate Finance Network (CFN).

The 50-strong firm is the first in the West Midlands to join the group.

The member firms in the network specialise in SME corporate finance deals for transactions up to pounds 3 million including raising finance and facilitating buying and selling businesses.

Nicklin said CFN membership would help it offer tailored corporate financial services across the West Midlands, with exclusive representation in the Birmingham and Black Country areas.

And it added clients would benefit from specialist knowledge of the Corporate Finance Network's rigorous training programmes, national conferences and specialist technical advice team.

Membership also bolsters Nicklin's wide range of value-added services that include tax planning; mitigation; independent financial services; mortgages and overseas property advice.

Partner Chris Cook said membership of the CFN would make the firm more competitive, adding that specialist corporate finance advice was more important than ever because of the downturn. …
