Fall I Storytime lottery: Parents can register their children u birth through age 6 u for the Mount Prospect Public LibraryAEs Fall I Storytime programs through Thursday, Sept. 3. This session of storytime programs will run from Sept. 14-Oct. 23. Due to the popularity of these storytimes, registration is determined by lottery and is reserved for Mount Prospect Public Library cardholders. Literary Review Book Club: Call by mid-August to take part in events at noon Fridays, Oct. 9, Nov. 13, Feb. 12, March 12 and May 14, Des Plaines Elks Club, 495 Lee St., Des Plaines. Prospect Heights Book Review Club: Season Begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Rolling Green Country Club, 2525 E. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. The club presents five breakfast/book reviews at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays, Sept. 23, Oct. 27, Feb. 24, March 24 and April 28; and two luncheons/book reviews at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays, Nov. 18 and May 26. Arlington Heights Book Club: The Arlington Heights Book Club is seeking new members. The club meets the fourth Tuesday of each month from October through May, except December and January, at various area banquet halls.
