'Social Media Revolution' Up for Debate at Conference

THE way social media services such as Facebook and Twitter have transformed the world of marketing will be put under the spotlight at a conference next month.

Beyond 2010 will bring together leading speakers to analyse how businesses use social media. And, as the name of the event suggests, it will debate how digital media will shape the business world in the future.

The keynote speaker will be renowned management guru Edward de Bono, while there will also be speakers from Facebook and the Society for New Media Research. Discussion topics will include: How to create an effective social media strategy - and how to measure its effectiveness Best practices to track, analyse, and improve social media marketing campaigns.
