36th PBC Eyes Competitive Mining Policy

Businessmen will push for a competitive policy for the mining sector and a strong public-private sector partnership to create a favorable investment climate, as well as launch a small-large enterprise cooperation scheme to further expand entrepreneurial activities in the country at the forthcoming Philippine Business Conference (PBC).Adopting the theme, "One.Global. Filipino. Creating Synery for Competitiveness," the 36th PBC & Expo will be held at the historic landmark Manila Hotel from October 13-15.The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and its strong network of 35,000 enterprises across the archipelago, represented by local chambers, industry associations, business councils and micro, small, medium and large enterprises will converge with policy makers, business leaders and development partners for this 3-day convention.This would also be the first PBC for President Benigno S. Aquino III. Tradition has it that the President delivers a keynote address at the conclusion of the PBC and provides some answers to the PBC Resolutions.36TH PBC chairman Benjamin Philip G.
