The post involves encouraging parents to put their youngsters in childcare and also monitoring colleagues for any signs of racism.

In Moray, where the council needs to make [pounds sterling]31million savings, an assistant personnel adviser is required to focus on 'the improvement of employee motivation'.

The role also includes 'the revision and development of policies and procedures, the research, development and analysis of HR information and advice and support to cross-departmental projects and organisational development work'.
