MANILA, Philippines - A series of One Nation Learning Conferences on Happy Psychology will be held in different parts of the country on Feb. 11-21.One of the featured speakers is the prominent Danish professor. Hans Henrik Knoop, chair of the European Conference on Positive Psychology.Knoop is the European counterpart of Harvard's Dr. Howard Gardner (Multiple Intelligences fame) in ''The Good Work Project: Theory and Practice,'' an international collaborative project which emphasizes excellence, ethics and engagement in the world of work.Happy or positive psychology is the scientific study of what makes life worth living. It aims to discover and promote the factors that allow individuals and communities to thrive. Researchers in this rapidly growing field investigate what makes human beings happy and how an individual can lead a fulfilling and satisfying life.
