Hospital Foundation Selects New Chairman

Jack A. Lloyd, regional president of Harris N.A. in Palatine and Rolling Meadows, has been appointed chair of the Northwest Community Hospital's Foundation's board of trustees.

Lloyd, a foundation trustee since 2007, said he looks forward to assuming a stronger leadership role in raising funds for the Arlington Heights hospital.

"I hope to assist in making a great hospital even better," he said.

Lloyd oversees 10 Harris retail locations and previously served as senior vice president and national sales director for Harris Private Bank.

He attended the University of Notre Dame, receiving a bachelor's degree in management and finance, and played on the school's 1973 national championship football team. He also participated in the MBA program at Northwestern University.

David Ungurean, foundation vice president, said the organization is fortunate to have Lloyd at the helm.

"Like other health care facilities across the nation, our hospital faces economic challenges that make philanthropy more important than ever in securing the best health services for our community," he said. …
