Louboutin Knows Pain Is So Close to Pleasure for Shoe Lovers; the RED Carpet

FOR many fashion lovers, their Achilles heel is a pair of Louboutin shoes. But their French creator, Christian Louboutin, admits he does not care if women feel pain wearing his super high-heels.

Instead, the designer claims most women have a 'quasi-masochistic experience' with their stilettos - and says anyone struggling to walk in his creations should ditch them altogether.

Louboutin says: 'I really have not so much sympathy.

'If Tina Turner and Prince's back-up bands can perform on stage in them for three hours, you can't tell me they are impossible to walk in.'

Louboutin, pictured, has single-handedly transformed the six-inch stiletto from Cabaret prop to closet staple. But his red soles are also responsible for a plethora of podiatric ailments and aches.

Rather than feel any regret for women's pain, the cobbler adopts a Gallic 'take it or leave it' attitude. …
