SDG Global names CEO

SOUTH HOLLAND -- Christian Daigre has been named Chief Executive Officer at SDG Global Inc., a protective and investigative services provider.

Daigre began his law enforcement career in 1999, serving as a police officer and detective for agencies in the Chicago area. He launched an investigative company in 2006, leading to the merger and creation of SDG Global in 2011.

Daigre is currently assigned to his department's violent crimes and special operations division.

He works with local, state and federal authorities as a task force member in South Suburban Cook County focusing on gang, narcotic and homicide investigations. He earned his Bachelor's degree in criminal justice and Master's degree in forensic psychology at Indiana University College while serving full time as a police officer.

China apologizes to Mead Johnson

GLENVIEW -- China's Hunan province apologized for "erroneous" reports claiming formula sold by Mead Johnson Nutrition Co. contained a banned flavor additive, the maker of Enfamil baby formula said.

The Hunan office of China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine confirmed that the product is safe and complies with regulations, Glenview-based Mead Johnson said in a statement.

Chinese publications including Caijing magazine and the 21st Century Business Herald reported that tests showed its formulas, along with those made by Abbott Laboratories and Pfizer Inc. …
