Comelec Names Top Poster Violators

Manila, Philippines -- Joseph Victor Ejercito of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) received the most number of notices from the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on illegal size and posting of campaign materials.

Data provided by the Comelec revealed that the San Juan congressman received nine notices, the most number among the 23 senatorial candidates included on the list.

He was followed by Aurora Rep. Juan Edgardo Angara with seven notices and Bro. Eddie Villanueva with five notices.

The senatorial candidates with four notices are Cagayan Rep. Juan Ponce Enrile, Benigno "Bam" Aquino, Sen. Loren Legarda, Gregorio "Gringo" Honasan, and former senator Ernesto Maceda, while Risa Hontiveros, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV, Puerto Princesa Mayor Edward Hagedorn, and former senator Richard Gordon received three notices each.

Bayan Muna Rep. Teodoro Casino, former Las Pinas Rep. Cynthia Villar, former senator Miguel Zubiri, Sen. Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III, Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero, Margarita Cojuangco, Nancy Binay, and former Sen. Ramon Magsaysay, on the other hand, have two notices. …
