Dye-Hards Set FOUR New World Records; D'Arcy Listeners Help Make History

THE Ray D'Arcy Show has managed to get an astonishing four Guinness World Records featured in its latest book.

The Today FM show has half of all the Irish achievements featured in the 2014 annual instalment, which is on sale now.

And the station's latest record came just this year - the largest gathering of people with mohicans.

The Ray D'Arcy Show set the mark as part of its annual Shave Or Dye event on February 22, which has helped to raise [euro]6million for the Irish Cancer Society.

Yesterday, Ray admitted he was "chuffed" the show has managed to get all their records into the book - with Shave Or Dye even getting a special mention in the editor's letter.

And Guinness World Record bosses revealed it was a massive achievement that the show was able get four records into their book.

Verifier Katie Ford said: "We've got 40,000 records on our database and 50,000 apply to us every year to be in the book. …
