Executives to Smarten Up Management Skills

Busy business executives and managers in the Western Cape again have the opportunity to smarten up their management skills.

This follows the introduction of a new learning schedule last year by USB Executive Development (USB-ED), the public executive development and training company of the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB).

The schedule provides for face-to-face management development programmes on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings at the USB campus in Bellville.

The senior management development programme (SMDP) will be held on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings and the management development programme (MDP) on Saturday mornings.

Willemien Law, USB-ED director of open programmes, says this is done to allow businesses from outside Cape Town to take part in executive development without interrupting work commitments.

"The SMDP is one of our top-tier programmes. Presenting it also on a part-time basis makes the learning schedule much more flexible to benefit more executives and managers. …
